Terms of Service

These terms set the rules for using Nivora and are designed to keep the service reliable, lawful and safe for everyone who listens, creates or connects.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Nivora, including its website, applications, music features, social listening features and related services. By creating an account or using Nivora, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

2

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information where required and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not impersonate another person, evade account restrictions, compromise the service by sharing credentials, or attempt to access another user's account.

3

Music and content

Nivora provides software for accessing, organizing and experiencing music and related metadata. Availability of tracks, artwork, lyrics, metadata and third-party material can change and is not guaranteed.

You may only upload, import, share or otherwise use content when you have the rights or permission required to do so. Nivora does not grant you ownership of music, artwork, lyrics or other third-party intellectual property merely because it is accessible through the service.

4

Acceptable use

You must not use Nivora to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; interfere with infrastructure; probe or bypass security controls; scrape or automate access abusively; spam or harass others; manipulate service metrics; or distribute content you are not legally entitled to distribute.

Reasonable security research must not harm users, access data without authorization or disrupt production. Contact us before testing systems in a way that could affect the service.

5

Jams, sharing and social features

Features such as Jams, profiles, friends, creators and shared playlists can expose information or activity to other users. You are responsible for what you intentionally share. Jam hosts may have additional controls over playback, participants and queues.

Do not use social features to harass, threaten, deceive or unlawfully expose personal information about another person.

6

Third-party services and imports

Nivora may interoperate with third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, policies or independent actions. Your use of them may be governed by separate agreements with their providers.

7

Beta features, changes and availability

Nivora may include beta, experimental or preview functionality. Such features may change, fail or be removed. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of Nivora, perform maintenance, impose reasonable technical limits or change feature availability as the service evolves.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

8

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nivora at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or infrastructure, investigate abuse, comply with law or address a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

9

Nivora intellectual property

The Nivora name, branding, interface, original software and other Nivora-owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to use the service, these Terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you.

10

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nivora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of third-party metadata or lyrics, or permanent availability of particular content or integrations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of Nivora, loss of access, third-party services or content. Any limitation applies only to the extent legally permitted and does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you. Before formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Nivora, law, security or our operations. The revision date above identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice where required.
